Check A Car helps UK drivers and automotive businesses make safer decisions with instant vehicle history reports and AI buyer insights. We turn a UK registration (VRM) into a report covering tax status, MOT status/history, stolen and write‑off markers, outstanding finance, and mileage consistency (availability varies by vehicle/source). We also serve businesses—helping them assess risk, reduce fraud, and make smarter pricing/underwriting decisions.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Sales Executive to grow our B2B/enterprise revenue. You’ll sell vehicle intelligence to customers like dealerships, insurers, and leasing/fleet businesses—helping them understand how Check A Car can reduce risk, speed up decisions, and improve outcomes.

In this role, you'll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You'll build relationships with decision-makers and demonstrate the value of our platform.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Understanding of SaaS business models preferred

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and qualify leads (outbound + inbound), focusing on clear ICPs and pain points
  • Run discovery calls and demos that connect product capabilities to real workflows and ROI
  • Close contracts for recurring/volume usage (including pricing, packaging, and renewal paths)
  • Maintain a healthy CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
  • Gather field feedback (objections, missing features, common workflows) and feed it into Product
  • Partner with Marketing on targeting, case studies, and vertical positioning (dealership/insurance/leasing)

Compensation

£40,000 - £60,000 + Commission
